Fresh from the oven… Kirkland waterfront on a late afternoon.
This post was written in response to Cee’s Black and White Photo Challenge: Take a New Photo.
Today I left work a bit earlier than usual, but decided to give the nanny the opportunity to work her regulars hours. So I went for a walk in Kirkland with the intention to take a new photo for this challenge. I got a few, but this one was my favorite.
This week, Jake’s Sunday Post is about City.
So I decided to do a photographic essay on my favorite city in the region I live. The city of Kirkland
Kirkland is a nice little city by Lake Washington
Full of parks
Cozy cafes serving delicious coffee,
little hidden shops
pedestrian crossings with flags that people actually use and drivers actually respect
and bronze statuses spread out throughout the city, including its traditional Cow and Dog statue that is always dressed up for the occasion
My dream house would be a house my the lake in Kirkland. It does not need to be a big house. Even an apartment would do if it has a view ;o)
