Playing with CDs and water

In response to F-Stop Fun post http://fstopfun.com/2012/09/08/all-right-mr-demille-im-ready-for-my-close-up-creative-macro-photography-how-two/, I tried to create some colorful macro pictures of CDs, water and light.

My setup was not as fancy as his. I used a CD, a fuzzy scarf, water, flashlight app on my Windows Phone as a source of spot light (yeah… lame, but that’s what I had 😉 ), some of those document marker stickers, and other little things I was able to find in the office.

I actually tried in 2 different days, and each day I used a different camera.

On Day 1, I used my Canon PowerShot SX 110 IS, and on Day 2, I used my Samsung Focus Windows Phone 7.5.

Here are some of them.
