Daily Post Challenge: Haiku, entry #1

This week’s daily post writing challenge is to post a Haiku for each day of the week, until Friday.
I’m not sure if I’ll be able to make them all, but I’ll try.
Here’s my first one.

big mountain over us
it’s always there day and night
watching us with love
