Ailsa‘s Travel-Themed Photo Challenge this week is Red.

A few years ago, I went with my husband and a friend to New York for New Year’s. It was my first (and so far only) time there.

One day, when we were walking along the Brooklin Bridge, I saw a seagull resting at a rail and couldn’t resist taking the picture.

The picture turned out pretty cool, because it was in a gray day, capturing gray/white bird on a red rail, so the red stood out naturally without any filters.
